Kind of reminds me of a Paul Poore SE30 pan

The oil pan is specifically built for LS bassed e30 swaps. I am currently prepping the cab for the cage by getting all of the tar out, which is not fun.

I learned that the hard way. It wasn't hard to get the sound deadning out, it was the residue. I used aircraft remover and it worked great, but I should've used dry ice.

If removing sound deadening from your E30 causes your skin to fall off

                      youuuuu might be an aircraft.

Time for an update. I short of maxed my credit card out to buy a perts to rebuild the head on the black e30 and a cage for the v8 swap. The cage has a pretty huge leed time so I probably won't see that for a few months. I did however get my garagistic brake booster delete bracket. I won't go into details about the scrap they sent me. I also bought my pedals and masters. On February 19th I'll be buying coilovers. I also mounted my resivoirs for the pedals.

Would a place let you pass tech with stuff in the cab like that John?

A guy on BF who has a track e21 has his reservoirs in the cabin as well. So I assume it doesn't matter

I've seen them inside plenty of times but never on the outside of the dash. I've only seen them mounted under the dash centrally or right above the pedal box

Might depend on which orgs you run with. Usually tech rules for racing are stricter than DE, and/or more strictly enforced.

There is often the blanket prep rule that if the rules don't say you can do X then you can't do X. The other broad rule that might apply is that hoses in the cabin carrying hot or flammable liquids have to be metal or reinforced (e.g., braided steel for your lines).
