Ill buy the 3 in aluminum pipe. How much of it?

I'll take a look in the garage tomorrow and see what I have.  I think 2-4 2ft pieces that include straight and 45 degree angles along with 4-6 cut up pieces that are 6-10".  I have some silicone connectors and t-bolt clamps that go together.  The pipe is painted black.

well if its enough for me to finish my e36 charge piping, that would be radical. Ebay stuff? or actually weldable tubing?

It is ebay stuff.  I did have it welded no problem.

It is weird seeing it like that after the blue being there for so long. I like it though!

Installed the strut bar with 1/4" gap from the exhaust. After driving today the exhaust is now touching the strut bar. Metal expanding from the heat? My motor mounts are solid. I'll keep an eye out if the gap comes back.

In related news the wideband is back up and running. Next thing necessary to do is close up my plug gap. Now and then I'm getting breakup at high rpms.

We (wilde toyota) take all of our lock and ignition cylinders to get recoded at Security Plus Locksmith on Loomis and I-43. The guy is old school and is very resonable and has roughly 1 day turn around time.

Say the downpipe is 3" O.D. and is 304 stainless, it would only grow 0.010" radially at 700F. Compound that with the expansion of the turbine housing, manifold, block, head, and strut brace and (without actually doing  the  calculations) you might be approaching 0.090" total expansion. I would suspect the engine is shifting back and forth on the engine mounts, yes even the solid mounts.

Make sure the rubber buffer #15 is installed. It slams up against the back of the subframe under braking so the engine mounts dont have to restrain the powertrain longitudinally all by themselves.

That was deep, breh!!  Great info and thought process.

I don't think I've ever seen that bracket!  You got to love previous owners.

                        Thanks for the info.

                                      1500 miles on these plugs.

I got the new ones all pointed EXACTLY with the open end pointed away from the intake to help reduce spark blow out. Gapped exactly to .021 and yes I did double check! No breakup at all!! She good.

Snap hooked it up with his smoke tester and my system looks to be good with exception on my turbine housing.  That is leaking very badly.  I have a video of it on instagram @drleadfoot
