Well, I was going to share this yesterday, but I bought it instead. 🤭

Had the ultimate motivation to work on this car.  Over the weekend I had two friends (David  and Cher)  swing by on my birthday and practice light painting using my car. I was only given 1 photo so far, but it's convinced me to put the car on the lift and finally start turning wrenches. 

I will post the images as they are processed and shared with me!

I think people are that dumb.  Someone asked how I came up with the idea of building a Momster truck on facebook and I replied with; "meth is a hell of a drug." Within the hour I had three people messaging me on facebook asking if I wanted to buy drugs. 

WTF.

I told them all I already had more than enough, but I was amazed.

Many Many moons later, I finally found the time to finish this up. I hope this helps to keep that fire under your ass lit long enough to finish before the up coming season. 

So I am taking it upon myself to help create signatures (the little message at the bottom of your posts) for WIbimmers members. Depending on content and the amount of people that want signatures will obviously affect how fast I can make them. I will note that I am **NOT** a graphic designer, BUT I am an industrial designer so I think I can mange to come up with something for you. 

What I need from you to make a sig.-

• Picture or pictures you want included (your car, a meme, a backdrop, etc)
• A tag line or quote 
• your screen name 
• Anything else you would like me to include

I second this. I thought I killed one with a full can of rootbeer straight to his head. When I was carrying him to his grave with a shovel, I learned what the meaning "playing possum" meant. Needless to say I launched his hissing ass right over my garage.

Apparently the rear wheels have a slightly larger cap than the fronts, and I tried putting a big cap in a small hole. Never works out.

Earl swung by this weekend and convinced me to mock up my Rieger "REP" front lip. I bought a rep because its not fiberglass so I dont have to worry about it and its half the cost(shame on me). I have new OEM lip clips and need to dremel the holes in the new lip for it to snap into place. I am doing this today and sending it to paint.

So I did a thing over the weekend. I  was on the hunt for a door for the girlfriends car and found one in Illinois. I ended up driving to chicago to with intentions of buying the door but it was damaged and I couldn't come back empty handed.. in turn, stumbled across something Ive been pondering for some time and it was in great shape and the perfect price.

A hardtop.

The headliner is sagging (as are most) and the canvas does have some small flaws, but overall it's exactly what I needed. I intend on building a Panoroof and using this top to make molds, and a jig, but for now Im going to clean this one up and use it as is until im ready to take on that challenge. Ive been slowly trying to reduce the amount of irons I have in the fire so I can focus on this car.

Calipers are all painted and I cleaned up the hardware. I was going to get new pad guides instead of cleaning them but they were $80 and I realized I was just being lazy. 
 

I have yet to start digging under the dash, that’s next.

Just picked up a new HotWheels tonight because I felt like it looked really similar to my car!

i found the car in the pointed out area.

 I was working towards the tip, I started at the opposite end which I circled to show you.

I was told that I should make a Rendering of my car awhile back but never really finished. I recently started to make a Vector design of it to use as a T-shirt template. I figured I would share.
