I've seen them inside plenty of times but never on the outside of the dash. I've only seen them mounted under the dash centrally or right above the pedal box

Might depend on which orgs you run with. Usually tech rules for racing are stricter than DE, and/or more strictly enforced.

There is often the blanket prep rule that if the rules don't say you can do X then you can't do X. The other broad rule that might apply is that hoses in the cabin carrying hot or flammable liquids have to be metal or reinforced (e.g., braided steel for your lines).

I will be OK with mounting everything inside the cab. I plan to switch to steal braided lines, but I'm using the rubber lines for mock up, because they came with the masters.

          Definitely unique.

Mine are rubber lines as well. I didn't think it mattered all the much being before the high pressure.

Is your bay really that crowded?

I wont know for sure until I have everything mocked up in the bay. As of right now everything can be changed and Ill make the final decision once the motor is all done and in.

its like those 1900s race cars where you need a co-pilot to watch/fill the oil level because pistons had no rings and all the oil was dumped right out the exhaust.

                      Are you deleting the heat/vents?

Yes, I'm deleting all of the heater vents. I'll be putting gauges in the middle vents and on the driver's side vent. The passenger side vent is just getting blocked off.

That makes things easier. I was hoping you found a way to relocate the atmosphere controls. I would love to use that space for something better.

I took everything out including the heatercore so no heat. I think it would be hard to move the climate controls.

They tore me apart. I don't understand why? The pedals are designed to attach to the masters right above your feet. It's not illegal to have them in the cab either.

They just figure you would want them out of sight and your current location would be better suited for switches of gages. For me it would seem better to try and mount them under the dash right above the pedals to have the shortest lines going down to the pedal. You dont need much room above them because you can fill them with fluid using a bottle pump=)

Yeah r3v was not happy about this.

In my worthless opinion it falls in the 'rice' category. If you hid them under the dash or put them through to the engine bay nobody would have said anything.

You custom mounted them to your dash like a aluminum spoiler on a civic.

But this is why everyone builds cars and not two turn out the same. My car pissed a lot of people off too.
