This may seem dumb but I finally found a usb charger that doesn’t look like a giant tumor with 6 bright LEDs sticking 8” off the console.

I bought the exact same one a couple years ago for the same reasons. Still charges things. Since it only has one job, that's a win in my book.

Road America was a lot of fun. Surface was slick like usual since the repave.

What rear end are you running?

How close were you to using all of second on some of the straights?

Yes there were lots of spins and 6 or 7 cars broke on course.  “self tech” due to the pandemic seems to be more hazardous for your health

3.25 with a ZF trans. Probably had another 700rpm to go before limiter is my guess

Wow I'm surprised they did a self-tech. That seems sketchy...

Started pulling the diff, which turned into pulling the axles because I observed some weathered boots, flung grease and the axle stub bolts were coated in watery axle grease. Luckily I have enough GKN/EMPI repair kits to replace/repack every boot. It’ll be nice to check this off the list, car is getting closer to 99.9% “done”.

Both are rebuilt and ready to go in once the diff is finished. The drivers side was near death in terms of lack of grease/grease condition, so the timing of this couldn’t have been better. B72A8F06-D12C-4975-9825-5A9F0637193B.jpeg
