I'm sure you already called, but tire rack usually has some pretty good customer service. I'm sure they'll get it sorted out

It was on UPS's side of things. Somewhere along the way UPS put them on separate trucks, so the last 2 tires showed up yesterday. Just glad I didn't have to deal with lost package BS. Time to get them mounted and balanced!

I also picked up the material from Speedy Metals to do the chassis diff mount work. Not looking forward to removing the undercoating or for welding upside down. But, you gotta do what ya gotta do.

Use a sharp, stiff putty knife. It will make less or a mess and actually work better than a wire wheel. You could use a pneumatic needle gun too=)

I was planning on trying my air chisel with a wide flat blade to hopefully shave it off in pieces instead of wire wheel dust.

Little progress everyday. Decided to use my multitool I had bought to cut a cabinet out to install a dishwasher in my tenants kitchen. Worked like a charm!

It would appear that the tire mounting process is: Toss some tires and wheels in Saabaru, set COBB AccessPort to BoxxerRumble Agitate mode, close hatch, wait 5 minutes.

Son of a bitch!!!! I got everything cut out and part of the mount fitted. I go to set the welder up and the wire feed speed controller does nothing. The welder only feeds at one speed no matter what you do to change it. I was aiming to have the mount done today. Anybody have any ideas why it's doing this?

He is using JB-Kwik in the two small tubes and its spilling out faster than desired. The cap isnt actually a feed speed controller knob but I can understand the confusion.

I prefer the JB putty because I have more control even though it sets up faster

If it's coming out slow make sure the tube to the gun isn't wrapped up you want it as straight as you can get it.

                                        Warranty that shit.

It's coming out similar to about mid way of the speed settings. I checked the resistance of the speed dial and I get a variable resistance, so it can't be the dial itself. Gonna have to wait till tomorrow to call lincoln support. I've had this welder for years, no warranty left here.
