Got it out running and driving. Need to fix some oil leaks, get the exhaust modified, get an alignment, finish wiring up gauges. To do list is much shorter, getting down to the “nice-to-haves”

just in time to fold the mirrors up for 2020

Fixed the oil leak from the bummerworld distroblock, the temp sensor I added in the t stat housing doesn’t seem to be leaking any more. It’s back home. Still Need to replace the valve cover gasket, it’s pissing oil - just waiting on some parts

A good trans/good shifting  is so important though.

a fresh clutch bleed, redline atf and removing the CDV made the biggest difference in driving enjoyment in the E46

Still leaking oil, but driving. should be getting the vc grommets today in the mail

exhaust went ok. It’s routed a bit goofy and isn’t tucked up as high as it could be, but it’s enough clearance for now and for $80 I can’t complain. This will be something in the future I will have modified to fit up against the car.

Also wired all the gauges last night. Went all out with the label maker

turns out the oil psi sender I have is most likely junk as the gauge pegs Max with key on. (Does this with sender wire connected and disconnected). The gauges all use the same power and ground and the other 2 work perfectly. New sender shows up tomorrow

Passed this up to co drive the evo at the last auto x event. Which is probably good because I need to get things to 100% before taking this thing out in an environment like that.

Evo was still a bunch of fun
