Been a bit since I updated this.  The first Partee Racing motor snapped the crank and he built me a new motor of the same exact spec without hesitation.  Currently working some tuning issues out as we switched tuners.

Good deal, I have an older Hobart 110v, the gun says Miller on it.  I used flux core for a little while.  Now I have a gas bottle and it is much better.  Practice with different settings, you can weld, let cool, weld, let cool, etc when doing sheet rather than trying to do a continuous bead.  With a little practice you will know just how long to hold it before you need to let up so it doesn't burn through.

Maintenance!!!!! Slow leak in the coolant reservoir, front diff whining on decel, clunk in front suspension all addressed along with some other items!  [image: 640660667(1).jpg]Grabbed a used diff and Mike added new input and output seals.  New o-rings on the trans cooler. New serpentine belt. New locking/hazard button.  New swaybar links. "New" suede steering wheel with white label airbag. cool project in that no one has done it (or very few) useless project in that e30s already have good weight distribution, so it doesnt take such a gigantic effort to balance them out.  he lost the trunk, rear seats, and gained an empty engine bay (which is useless).
