if you'd swing by at least to bring the samples, that would be very helpful!  I'm going to dive into this right when i get home.

crisis temporarily averted. with some 3/4 hose and random fittings (whatever they had in stock) i was able to make a bypass section. see you all on saturday.

yup, actually very easy with losing coolant from only that section of the system. also took it for a 10 min drive up to operating temp, then parked it - not going to touch it till Saturday morning for fear something else goes wrong.

I keep that hose repair tape in my on-board tool kit. It saved me once when I was in high school.

On second thought, being DEI its probably for exhaust leaks and header cracks. I meant the radiator hose tape

some sun came through friday night after washing the car. got out the camera to document the only moment when this car might be perfectly clean from here on out. (don't forget I am daily driving this car)

CABs switch to solid lollipops today, as well as a new shifter bushing.

having the passenger side CAB not resting on my exhaust reduced some cabin noise as expected. i still do have an odd rattle when starting from a stop in that same area that I thought would have been the exhaust, but it did not go away. *shrug*

also, first road trip with the car this weekend. time for some backroad blasting :D
