Hello. My name is Dan, and today I doomsday prepped
-
I can swing by later if you need assistance. Just let me know.
-
if you'd swing by at least to bring the samples, that would be very helpful! I'm going to dive into this right when i get home.
-
If you have enough wiggle room in your fuel lines do what Ben said. Mine are too short so I usually get fed up and pull them in a fit of rage
Oh. Right. I changed to soft lines instead of those annoying metal ones that kept bugging me.
My statement may no longer apply -
crisis temporarily averted. with some 3/4 hose and random fittings (whatever they had in stock) i was able to make a bypass section. see you all on saturday.
-
yup, actually very easy with losing coolant from only that section of the system. also took it for a 10 min drive up to operating temp, then parked it - not going to touch it till Saturday morning for fear something else goes wrong.

I keep that hose repair tape in my on-board tool kit. It saved me once when I was in high school.
I didn't know it could be used for that...

some sun came through friday night after washing the car. got out the camera to document the only moment when this car might be perfectly clean from here on out. (don't forget I am daily driving this car)

Those look good. Daily as not in the winter though.....
-
Beautiful E30!
-
thanks, dudes!
Wow, very nice shots! 2nd one is my favorite. We really need to take more nice photos with the group.
i agree. wish it had not been raining saturday so the camera could have come out.

no, not if I can help it. but i also don't have indoor storage, so that doesn't help the cause.
-
Came*** here just for this shot. Very very nice man!

CABs switch to solid lollipops today, as well as a new shifter bushing.
having the passenger side CAB not resting on my exhaust reduced some cabin noise as expected. i still do have an odd rattle when starting from a stop in that same area that I thought would have been the exhaust, but it did not go away. *shrug*
also, first road trip with the car this weekend. time for some backroad blasting
