i ordered a new clutch master cylinder tonight. ive been thinking about just tearing the car down and replacing the majority of it. i want to make it reliable so i can actually learn how to drift, because as of right now i cant really drive it down the road, how is it going to handle going sideways?

im not sure to be honest. i cant think of anything else that is on the car that i need to run. i am thinking of just replacing all of the bushings in the rear subframe. i plan on replacing the suspension soon if that counts. im just sick of it breaking.

and earl i will tuck the bumpers soon.

Dont die when you drill holes in the pressurized dampers to tuck ze bumpers,  late model front end is a simple swap too

I ALREADY DRILLED THE HOLES IN THE SHOCKS A LONG TIME AGO. I COULDNT GET THEM TO PUSH IN WITH A HAMMER OR ANYTHING ELSE SO I HAVE TO DRIVE IT UP TO A WALL OR WHATEVER.

Is it common for pedal boxes to break on E30s too? I know that people reinforce the E28 ones, wonder if its all the same hardware.

I'm not sure if they are a common problem. I'm amazed that the rod broke though.

does your firewall have any accident damage causing the clutch masta to be mounted off on an angle from where BMW intended it to be?

I'm not sure. I know that the rear end was hit but I can't say for the firewall

I'll just buy red tape then use some then return it. Or I could color the tape with red sharpie?
