Guilty pleasure
-
Most of you guys chose cool cars. I thought the guilty pleasure thing was to choose something you like that's dumb, like Rowley and I did.
This. A lot of you just chose neat cars lol. I Was more hoping for cars that you secretly like yet don't tell your friends kind of thing haha. You would never see me with a Mitsubishi flag in my garage... But I couldn't help myself to buy one.

I spent a lot of time in years past reading Super Street magazine, and have a deep love of all things JDM. I'd kill for an NSX, FD, MR2, or my dream car.... A Hakosuka.
I've also always had a thing for super clean EK hatches... If I ever find a clean unmolested one in white, I'll be hard pressed not to buy it.
Love me some super street... Currently sitting next to 40+ copies. Along with a ton of other modified mags

My new nomination:
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1450966163.837922.jpg Take a white Corolla XRS with the high revving yamaha vvtli engine and undress it to poverty spec then fit it with aftermarket suspension that sits at stock ride height.roll up to the line at an autocross, fully decked out like the stig. people are laughing like what is this guys deal. then bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Dyno #'s?
-
I honestly have only changed the oil and drove it around the block. Need an idle valveĀ I'm getting this weekend. Then I'll street tune it on wastegate pressure, then bring it to the dyno for mbt tuning Ā
Should easily clear 900whp on e85, but I'm shooting for 6-700whp daily.
-
you keep telling yourself that.
Lmao. To clarify, it's using a 4g64 block with is 6+mm deck height, and larger bore. So, stock rods are 150mm, long rods are normally 156, and these are 162.Ā
Ill be be shifting at 9500 or so, but I can reliably rev to 11k+ if I had a dog box and dry sump lol

You should probably buy a shitbox Corolla to get you to work.
-
The guy before you did the work and didn't bother to dyno it?

You should probably buy a shitbox Corolla to get you to work.Ā
Still have lots of cars. 02 wrx wag, 91 s13, 4x e30's(2 running and driving ha) have my dually flat bed Isuzu.Ā
But im not kidding. i bought an evo to drive every damn day and that's what it's gonna do. my drive to work is one of my favorite things, and this car will be made for that exactly.
-
Did you just use the word "reliably" in reference to an Evo? We'll see.
Haha it relative. It technically is more reliable versus a shorter rod. This thing has like 1.8 rod ratio lol.Ā
But i put 7k miles and 20+ launchs and 3 sets of tires thru my last evo(which had stock trans and t case) and it never broke a sweat. By far the most reliable car I've owned. It was also at 140k when I traded.
