Hopefully getting out today to take the rest of the brake lines in the rear out as well as the rear sway bar. Bought some face shields so I can clean the entire bottom of the car and then re-undercoat it. The kbs/por-15 will be for the subframes/trailing arms/suspension crap

Did you save big money this holiday season?

Went to harbor freight actually. Inside track club dude.

Scraped, sanded & wire-wheeled my way into being the next face of a class action lawsuit for mesothelioma tonight in the garage. Most of the junk is "prepped" for undercoating spray bombs.
So much dust x__x
im actually pretty happy with how not shitty the underside of this car is thanks to the previous leaky m50. All the hard mounting points for everything are actually in good shape

Got around to cleaning up the front subframe I bought from ray and the rear subframe that's been in my car for forever. (I have reinforcements for both) I will update with photos shortly.
It was another awful & dusty day but hopefully it will be worth it.
this is how I pushed the power flex bushings out after snaking some wd-40 in between the subframe and bushing

Acorns in my fuggin subframe

-
Ready for reinforcements

Still need to clean up the diff and rear trailing arms.

Anyone have recommendations for coils? I've been leaning towards CAtuned & have spoken with Collin about his... Anything else I should look at? Goals are not stants low, but will want it to be adjustable & stiffer than the crap I have. I figured coils over hr/billies because I could get different rates for the extra weight up front. I'll be running stock sway bars as well

BC Racing, CaTuned, or Fortune 500's
These are the ones I was kicking around.
Might go with CAtuned for the whole core exchange thing/come welded/new wheel bearings
-
acorns, lol. stupid squirrels just hide those f'ers everywhere because they forget where half of them are.
-
Kill em! Kill all dem squirrels with fire!
-
maybe the squirrel was trying to acorner balance the car for you?
-
Finally got the axles out of the hubs thanks to an impact

Long story short the bearings are going to be replaced
Just need to get the hub pressed out now
