Haha. It would be nice to have something that could go faster that 60mph.... I might have to shop around some. I had a KLX650 a long time ago, but it was big and heavy, so I was too chicken to toss it around much. Still managed to crash it anyway...

My next bike project was going to be more of a flat-tracker style. Something like this:

      XR650-Flattrack.jpg

As if I need another project...

Flat trackers are cool. Front end swaps look perfect on those style bikes.

It would be nice if you could fit a 16.5" up front and a 5" wide 17" hoop in the rear

cant you just use two of the flywheel bolts and wedge a long bar in them to secure the crank? if you've got a good drill you could probably make your own holding tool pretty easily.

It took a 1/2" impact gun with a 22mm torque socket and my crank bolt came right off

Haha. Sure. Had to ride it home in first gear because I bent the shifter under the case.

Got home. Bent it back. Proceeded to ride.

                    How's that triumph coming along..............

I know the feeling. That happened on the buell when I hit some gravel and slowly laid the bike down. Bent it back with some vice grips and off I went.

Triumph is same old same old. Took it out for a nice ride today tho. Just gotta baby it in 1st & 2nd until I get to working on it.

Does it just need a new clutch? Because that's cake bassface

Most likely its internal gearbox issues or the detent arm behind clutch. I just gotta get inside the clutch cover to check the easy stuff first. If its the dogs inside gearbox, that'll require engine removal to split the case.

Sell it. Buy a grom. Thank me later. It puts a limit on what size chicks you can bring home

Having ridden a lot of stuff. I can say the grom is almost more fun than my Supermoto was. And sport bikes cannot hold a candle to the amount of fun that you can have on a supermoto.

Don't knock it till you try it.

straight-faced, Mr. Serious, blacked-out-600-rider takes a grom off-road. "yeah... it's small and it's cute." The dialog cracks me up.

Haha. I was only going about 25-30ish. I was riding with another buddy who has a grom and we were just practicing around on some wide industrial roads.

I was honestly more worried about the bike so I white knuckled that thing when I slid.

I'm going to buy a 12 bar and crash cage for this thing shortly. Because I will crash it some more for sure.
