Tossed a different set of wheels on the 240 today...

Looking great! Excited to see this thing in person sometime.
Thanks. I can't wait to drive it this spring!
should have drawn a dick on the flywheel prior to assembly.
Maybe I did. #secretsobscuredbythebellhousing
Anyways, the engine/trans are in. I had to make a bracket to mount the power steering pump today, but didn't take a picture.
Anyone know a good place to have custom power steering lines made up? Or should I just go the route of a compression fitting to AN?

Hyquip does all sorts of custom hoses, most even made while you wait. I would definitely check them out first. Looking good by the way!

Someone engraved a dick on my strut tower.....

Awesome, that's on my way home from work. I'll have to check them out. Thanks!

Can't wait to see this in person! Super clean bay! Epic wire tuck.

Thanks guys! I'll crash a BMW meet or two in this car this summer... park on the street or something. I can't wait for the meet "season" to get going.
Progress and such. In-fender wiring pretty far along now. Waiting for the intake manifold to show up to finalize all the wiring that will be hidden under that.

Thanks TJ
Test-fit with the intake manifold. looks like the new fuel rail interferes with the strut brace, so that'll take some figuring.
Freshened up (thanks DP)

BRAKES

These 17" RCs barely clear the caliper. Perhaps a bit close for comfort.

-
The picture does look roomy, especially with the adapters on there. There is 1/16"-3/32" clearance between the caliper and the barrel of the wheel. It's VERY tight.

Getting more things done.
Mocking up the intercooler--not yet mounted.

Intercooler pipes fitted.

Roundit 2000 for the harness and misc other wiring

Odyssey PC680 mounted and other bits

Thanks, I'm going to use a e36 distribution block/positive terminal in the engine bay. Should be a nice little detail.

If you guys don't mind me bringing a non-BMW, I'd like to swing by. We'll see though, that is two days before I take this car on a 35 hour drive to Portland, OR for a Volvo car show.
