Very cool! Nice that they are expanding while most pulled back their programs. Hopefully others will follow.

i find many things wrong with this.  art is creative human expression. trying to remove the human from it seems sad to me. no emotion, no story, no heart, no intelligence or understanding of the effect the art could have. yes, a guy programmed a computer, but the point of the programming was for the guy to not have an influence on the art, just to get a computer to do it.  the took an 'ai' program that already existed and plugged in other peoples art that already existed - not much of that seems original.  and again, there is no actual car with art on it, like the last dumb bmw digital art 'car.' one of the endearing parts of bmw's art car program was the physical paint on the car. an artist applying their creativity to the surface of this machine created piece of equipment. it was a great contrast.  i find it hilarious that they didn't just pick one, they chose an array. obviously none were very good on their own so it had to be a collection to make it seem more interesting. quantity over quality. look at the high res images, the graphics arent even clear, they are all pixelated and fuzzy. its 2021, we cant even have 1080p art cars?  also, calling their own art a 'masterpiece' is so cringe. much facepalm.

I'm one step closer to making my truck useable and added a Rough Country soft roll up tonneau cover.  The installation was very easy and it pulls nice and tight when closed.  I was really waffling between this and a tri fold hard cover but realistically I don't keep things in the bed of my truck that need that level of protection and the convenience of the roll up soft top was very appealing. Sorry gentleman, this has been sold!  My experience selling a cheap camper compared to cheap cars is far different.  I don't know which is worse.  Cheap cars bring out the worst people while a cheap camper brought out people with, what i thought, were exceedingly high expectations for a camper at this price range.  Mind you, this thing is in mint condition but people looking to spend $1000 and they want A/C, heat, tv's, stereo's, etc.  Oh well, it went to a really nice young family!

I just thought the juxtaposition of the Ferrari-ish badge with a moose on a vehicle that was the least Ferrari thing possible was hilarious and very tongue in cheek lol.  I'd do it again.   This is this guys 2nd Volvo along with a 2015 FWD v60 that he adores.  Seemed like a genuinely good dude and we talked about pitbulls for a good amount of time.  It was possibly the least sketchy Facebook marketplace transaction I've ever had.

Weeks.  The customer sent an email to Cooper when they started talking to me and Cooper JUST responded to them saying the tires don't appear to be seated on the beads... Cooper has ruined weeks of trust that I've built up with these customers by making an ill informed comment.  Cooper is also refusing to stand behind their "diagnosis" and will not reimburse me or the customer for the time spent reseating the tires.  Thankfully the customer sounds like they still trust me as I continue to try and find the right solution for them.  If this customer was a jerk I would have sent them packing but because they've approached the situation calmly I am putting in the time to try and make it right for them. Harsh but I think it was meant to keep service managers running the dept as close to BMW's guidelines/best practices and kept BMW NA involved with the individual dealer's services. That's pretty standard in dealers.  A poor CSI score can impact someones pay depending on how the pay structure is set up for that team.  If you want to get a dealers attention then give them a poor CSI score.  We utilize a CSI but don't receive many back.  We spend A LOT of time responding to online complaints and reviews and a lot of them just make me shake my head.  We had one within the last few weeks that stated we took 2.5 hours to do a rotation/tire check on their vehicle.  Well, when my Service Manager looked into it the vehicle was dropped off an hour before the appointment, the customer left and came back 1.5 hours after the appointment and the vehicle had been completed before they showed up.  When the Service Manager reached out to the customer and asked why she wrote the complaint she stated that she wasn't inconvenienced by the situation at all and had in fact left with someone so she wouldn't have to wait in the waiting room.  She wrote the complaint because she saw other bad reviews and thought she should add one... I wish I could say this was abnormal.  When customers are confronted about these reviews they act like they had no idea someone would actually read them.  Keyboard warriors waste hours of my time every week. LOL Dude, don't even get me started on JD Power!  Quickly, the Initial Quality award that GM LOVES to tout awards a manufacturer for making a vehicle with few issues WITHIN THE FIRST 90 DAYS OF OWNERSHIP.  They claim that within the first 90 days of ownership you can determine a vehicles long term reliability.  Well, according to a report I saw recently of vehicles most likely to still be on the road after 15 years roughly ZERO of the winners from 2003 were on the list.  Making a car that won't break for 90 days of ownership is like making a meal that won't give you diarrhea until 36 hours after you've eaten it instead of 24 hours.  Congratulations, you still made shit.  JD Power is a marketing company.  They sell the right to tell people about your car getting an award.  It's in their benefit to have as many vehicles as possible get an award.
