Have you checked the ground strap under the car going from engine to frame?

Secret Santa 2023I did, I was super confused as it wasn’t BMW related and thought it was a gift from someone else
(the shirt not the puppy) Thanks Santa Pat!
Fair enough, lol. I know your first love was Hondas and I got bored looking at BMW stuff so I took a chance. -
Secret Santa 2023Same here. More like secret new years at this point. Sorry my secret receivers.
Did you happen to get anything in the mail...

2011 328i Longroof - The Saga ContinuesI remember thinking "Headlights that move? No way that works." Then I started driving cars with them and it's so fucking useful.

Non-BMW Stuff on a BMW ForumThat's awesome! My kids are super excited. They play it in all the time. I have Harrington booked in a couple weeks for its test trip and Blue Mounds in November so we can do Cave of the Mounds, too.
Next year we have WI Dells and Devil's Lake booked. I plan on doing Peninsula earlier in the year since all the electric sites are booked and Nelsen Dewey in August so we can check out Dubuque and Galena. Learning all about the games you gotta play to get some of the more desired parks.
We were actually just at Blue Mounds a couple weeks ago! Very nice park with a couple parks for the kids. Hiking is good and pretty easy. If it's warm enough, the pool is VERY nice. There is no fishing though, which was a bummer for me. We'll definitely be going again.
We went to Harrington last year and it's cool to be that close to Lake Michigan and the beach is very nice. Nice shower area too. There's a raccoon issue there so keep garbage closed up. The lake they have that is a filled in quarry is pretty. I didn't catch any fish though. To be honest I don't remember much else to do there.

Non-BMW Stuff on a BMW ForumWow! What a transformation! I'm still traumatized from replacing the floors in our last camper, no way I'd have the stomach for a project like this. Very nice job and the good news is you put it back together 1000X better than they originally built it.
Pre-kids, I would have never thought of owning a camper. Two kids and a dog later and we're on our 3rd camper. From a pop-up to 26' TT and now our 31' TT with a slide out. We did 6 trips this year with the kids and what makes it all worth it is when I was sitting outside my sons classroom for his 1:1 with his new teacher last week and when he was asked, "what did you do this summer?" the first thing he said was "We went camping so many times!".
Lemme know if you need any camp location suggestions!

Jake's Epic BMW 135i Build Thread! (5+ Years of Ownership)I think it's safe to say I have a problem at this point. Is there a # of BMWs one must own at the same time for it to be classified as an addiction?
Depends on if they're running or not. It's only a problem when it's a project more than it's driven.

So, what are you listening to?I'll see ya there? We've got floor seats on Friday.
Hell yea! We're 100 level but we can figure something out to meet up.
-
So, what are you listening to?Same here. Never was a country guy, but I've been listening to Hardy lately... and some Morgan Wallen.

I'm going to see both in April. My wife has injected them into my Spotify recommendations so I'll have a nice bluegrass mix going then Spotify hits me with those two and I'll blind skip every time. I'm sure they're gonna put on a great concert but the music does nothing for me.

So, what are you listening to?Great interview, neat info on Alpina's history. Also eloquently shit on the new beaver teeth kidneys haha
The thought of a V12 Z8 made me so happy. It makes me want an Alpina even more after hearing so much about them.

T4r feat White WhaleHow are the factory bi-xenon headlights? Are they pretty decent?
Decent for 10+ year old headlights. I upgraded the HID's on ours to the Osram Cool Blue 7k. Highly recommend. Before you judge the color watch the video. They're not blue.

T4r feat White Whale@straight6pwrIf you have the satellite radio I'd HIGHLY recommend you disconnect it and replace it with https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volvo-most-network-diagnostic-bypass-loop-genuine-volvo-8688083. I spent 2 years and 3 batteries chasing down the SLOWEST parasitic drain issue that would only rear it's head in cold weather after sitting for 2+ days.
The RDAR module starts to cause a drain and I'm still not 100% sure why but after disconnecting it we've had no issues.

I'm now in the E90 clubBMW part # 51470010557 is the cargo net if you're missing it. Works wonders to keep the groceries in place during those high speed return trips. Can't miss an apex just because you've got eggs in the trunk!

T4r feat White WhaleWhelp, sold the Volvo bought a Volvo. Drove her back from D.C. this weekend - lets hope she's as reliable as the wagon!
2012 XC90 3.2 R-Design, Ice White w/Black interior
Most of my drive was at night, but here's the dealer pic.
Its a big honkin thing, but will keep the fam safe.
We've got your non-r twin! My wife has been driving her 2012 XC90 for 7 or 8 years now and it's been dead nuts reliable. Other than oil changes, tires and brakes I haven't had to do a thing to it. She's at 130k or so right now and my wife says she's going to keep it until it dies. She loves her XC90.

I'm now in the E90 clube90 gang! That's a nice green. I've left my e90 untinted but after getting my truck tinted it's so much more comfortable on long trips.

BIKES!We got my wife into a new(used) bike recently to replace her 20+ old Ross mountain bike that her mom bought used before she went to college. Needless to say, big upgrade for her. She's put a few miles on it with and without pulling our bike trailer on gravel trails and it's a huge difference for her. Roughly 20lbs lighter than her old bike with an actual functioning front shock AND disc brakes. It's got me itching to replace my 2001 GT Aggressor 1.0...
