2017 WI Bimmers Spring Meet and Cruise - Saturday, April 15th, 2017Today was a perfect start to the year, good weather, good people, good cars.
Also, what is a WCEC bro, I've never heard of this.
WCEC Bro: A "car enthusiast" who often posts in the Wisconsin Car Enthusiast Club on facebook, has their chevy cruze rear window covered in WCEC and K&N stickers, fart can exhaust, plasti-dipped wheels, a windshield banner, and often tries to race everyone on the street.

my N55 makes a loud boom and shoots a giant fireball out the exhaust when I shift at WOT. I win.
Hahaha this whole pop thing actually started when somebody on e90 post wanted their n54 to pop like the n55 with the ppk. Then one of the tooners cranked it up to ricer level and made it sound like a popcorn maker.

Without a doubt they are one of the best, if not the best, tuner car platforms now for the money. Extremely durable engine that doesn't need to be built at 400hp like the EJ. Not to mention all the go (and then some) without the bro-status.

I beg to differ
About which part? I'm not aware of many other platforms that can be found for $8-$10k that'll have as much potential as an n54 car.

HWY 100One night I was delivering pizzas and some damn street racers had the road blocked off
Did you ask "what the h*ll is going on around here"? Then did they say "street's closed pizza boy, find another way home."

Jake's Epic BMW 135i Build Thread! (5+ Years of Ownership)This thread pushes the argument for a 135i over an M3 for me. Super cool build
I would suggest driving both back to back, I can almost guarantee you'll want the M3. All the N54 (except maybe for the 1M - though I can't comment on that) cars just don't feel special compared to the E9x M3. Sure they're very quick but that's about it. They don't handle all that well and can't put the power down.
-
Jake's Epic BMW 135i Build Thread! (5+ Years of Ownership)I'm really surprised the one series don't have a factory LSD besides the 1M? Is it available as a factory option at least?
No factory option. The first modern non-M car to get an optional LSD was the M235i.

New build! E90 M3LT1 F-Bodys are great performance bargains! My good buddy has one with long tubes and full exhaust and it sounds menacing. They can take some HUGE tires up front (305 probably) and are double wishbone up front. Not bad for $4-5k typically.
