You should probably buy a shitbox Corolla to get you to work.ย

Still have lots of cars. 02 wrx wag, 91 s13, 4x e30's(2 running and driving ha) have my dually flat bed Isuzu.ย

But im not kidding. i bought an evo to drive every damn day and that's what it's gonna do. my drive to work is one of my favorite things, and this car will be made for that exactly.

Did you just use the word "reliably" in reference to an Evo? We'll see.

Haha it relative. It technically is more reliable versus a shorter rod. This thing has like 1.8 rod ratio lol.ย

But i put 7k miles and 20+ launchs and 3 sets of tires thru my last evo(which had stock trans and t case) and it never broke a sweat. By far the most reliable car I've owned. It was also at 140k when I traded.

Wisconsin evo owners. Dude traded an evo motor swapped rwd mustang for it, drove to Texas for it, and then I traded my car for it before he even drove it lol. He's having his second kid now and needed something reasonable.

4 active posters on here and the only thing you guys have to post about is a broken mitsu turd haha.ย

Spun a rod bearing first time driving it more or less. Retard who assembled the block didn't check the main clearances,ย just believing that the manley crank was good because it was new. They were all over the place.ย

Oh well. At least it happened under zero load, and everything is just fine. sending the crank out tomorrow for grinding and re-nitriding, and same with the rods. Block is perfect, and so are the bores. Machine work was good, just a stupid PO who assembled. it.ย

He also put the floater plate on the QM twin disc on backwards LOL. Which is amazing to me, how do you buy a new clutch like that and install it wrong? Its literally brand new, looks like it never had a single pull done.ย

Give me another couple weeks and hopefully all is well!

honestly tho, around 3 hours and I had the thing completely taken apart, and this was outside, birds chirping, while drinking beer on a Saturday, in march, with a t shirt. It was freaking great.

First I have a soft spot for the old Nova. I'd have to have it all black with a 572 big block (twin turbo of course :).

Second would be the GTR.. they are just nasty tuned and look pretty cool IMO.

But with all that said I'd like to get my hands on a newer M5. 1260ee1408d63288f06aec0fd7012f24.jpg
