Do you already have the reinforcement kit or does that need to be fabricated?

I have a welder and could help if you were close to Milwaukee.

I just have to pick up a set of plates. I'm in Racine, so not too far.

          Car drivable?

If you do the prep work I'll do what I can to help you out.

$1050 is an awesome price if they are doing the labor of removing the subframe and such. Lowest I've seen from a good bodyshop is $2k

Yeah I still daily drive the car now. I just take it easy. $1,050 was from a shop in Greenfield just south of Southridge Mall. I can't remember the name of the shop right now. They said they could do a 2 day turn around on it. I'm just trying to keep cost down with my daughter due in about 3-4 weeks. I most likely won't consider this project until spring, but just trying to gather info now

I will just be driving it until I get my Subaru forester back from the shop. Then it'll get parked while I work on it.

To me being a e36 it's not worth it to even fix honestly. I'd put full coverage on it wait till spring, claim on insurance which they will for surely total it and take what you can get. Otherwise scrape it. If it was a low mileage m3 then that would be another story.

Insurance won't pay you just because your car is broken. I think I'd lose more money by selling for cheap or junkie it than it would to fix it. It's a very clean and rust free black on black manual.

I know I'm late to the thead but if you haven't got it done yet, contact Jake Rawson from Rawsomotion. He might be able to give you a better deal considering I had my subframe mounts reinforced, some bushings, and some other things done for under a grand.
