Says there is rot but doesn't show rot. Makes perfect fucking sense.

Anyone see this 740i M sport yet? Only 128k on it. Not a bad price https://madison.craigslist.org/cto/6110602090.html

Woah thats a fair deal. Dakar yellow E36 M3 sedan for under $5k with a good title is fair in my book!

Too late for an easy swap. Dual vanos comes with much more complex wiring.
Though I haven't personally dealt with it. -

I met this dude once before. He had a really clean E34 540 that he drifts with. I have seen him posting on facebook about the car trying to get it running. Thats about all I know.

Seems like there's been a run of these in the past few weeks. Weather gets warm and all the e36 M3s with issues come out of hibernation. Maybe the dreams of progress with project cars over the winter hits reality and folks want out? Anyway, gives Snap assorted options to look through.

Getting rid of overrun fuel cut is apparently the first thing any serious tuner does, but honestly I didn't make it too far into this monster-thread. Google Drive link in the first post has the goods.

Not local but...
That price is pretty good considering the 6-speed too. It would probably cost a lot more to build one
