Looks nice actually. Too bad it's in Chicago. I refuse to drive through Illinois to look at cars anymore... friggin tolls and a-holes.

Too late for an easy swap. Dual vanos comes with much more complex wiring.
Though I haven't personally dealt with it.

ECU has been cracked on those finally. EWS delete can be flashed pretty easily. Not sure about the electronic throttle business though... Aluminum block would be cool.

I met this dude once before. He had a really clean E34 540 that he drifts with. I have seen him posting on facebook about the car trying to get it running. Thats about all I know.

Seems like there's been a run of these in the past few weeks. Weather gets warm and all the e36 M3s with issues come out of hibernation. Maybe the dreams of progress with project cars over the winter hits reality and folks want out? Anyway, gives Snap assorted options to look through.

Ive made offers on 2 of them but the owners were holding onto them for other buyers. The miles and overheating are a deal killer for me but thanks for posting it!

Getting rid of overrun fuel cut is apparently the first thing any serious tuner does, but honestly I didn't make it too far into this monster-thread. Google Drive link in the first post has the goods.
