When you put the plastic skirts on do the jacking holes line up with the ones in the body? I have a 94 and might put some on. Just curious because bavauto sells some plastic skirts but warns that the holes will not line up.
They do, mine lined up perfectly. I don't know why they told you otherwise. The post 95 cars that came with the skirts from the factory are the same underneath, they just have holes drilled into the body to mount the skirts. My skirts are OEM so there might be a difference if the bavauto ones are aftermarket so I would ask why they say that

Great to know, thanks! Mine has some rust to be repaired n the rockers and if it doesn't look great (new to bodywork) I am going to just put plastic skirts on. I like the two tone early e36 style and will be keeping that as well, it's not as noticeable on mine though being arctic gray.

After much deliberation this past weekend, I think I may be putting my car up for sale. I will being going over the e30 tonight to make my final decision but I've seen the car many times before and I am pretty sure I know how this is all going to turn out. Would anyone be potentially interested in it? I will probably write up an ad but for the time being I think this thread gives a pretty good overview. If I do sell it I'd really like it to go to an enthusiast

How much will you be asking for it?
I had it advertised for about 2900 last summer without the 17's and with a few problems that I have since corrected and I had a bit of interest but I decided to keep it. Since then I have done a decent amount of maintenance and improvements. There really aren't many 318's around in good shape for sale so I don't know If I am being reasonable or total pie in the sky when I say maybe $3500 (asking price) with everything including all the extra parts/sets of wheels/bentley manual/etc. I am definitely willing to negotiate as I would rather it go to a good home. I am unsure as of right now if I will actually sell it, but I will try and make a decision this week.

Well guys, its the end of an era for me, the car is sold and gone. I got what I wanted for it and the new owner is very happy and will take great care of it. I was sad to see it go considering how much work I've put into it but its on to my new project, I can't wait for the day when my new e30 is as nice as this car!
