So my clutch doesn't like the boost at 18 psi. I do, but it really doesn't one bit.
It slips in 4th and 5th but spins tires through the other gears. It has a chattering feel and the revs go up but the mph do not.
I think it is bull#€£%# because it's a southbend stage 4 unless the seller lied. Going to get a southbend stage 5 and call it a day.
When it doesn't slip it is insanity!!

I'm sure it isn't too smooth. But it feels strong.
I'll have to look back to what I have. Not too sure because I bought it used and can't remember what I got in there.

Single mass flywheel

Why are you still messing with junk clutches. Get the UUC twin disc and call it a day. Will also feel a lot better on your foot as it feels like factory.
Have you seen proven results??
-
First I'm going to bleed my slave cylinder and look into a braided line. Just to be sure, ya know?!

Air in the system wouldnt have an effect on clamping force, thats all in the pressure plate. It would only prevent it from releasing all the way. But you already know this. So im going over here now. Bye
Darn, I had a feeling that might not do the trick.

I have had my "blue flywheel of death" for 20k miles at least with no troubles. It has fantastic feel and is still easy enough to drive that my wife said she can't tell the difference from the stock one. I am also not revving past the stock limiter, I would rather have the light flywheel and stock limiter any day.

How much power?
-
What exactly is the blue flywheel of death? Lol
Also, wouldn't a twin disk not feel stock at all? Unless you are talking about a different version , but most run crazy clamping force and won't have good pedal feel.

All of the reviews say it is very streetable and holds big power. I might need this in my life.

I am not sure why it has this terrible reputation, maybe people are using it with other mods that cause engine destruction? Lots of crap info on the interwebs. I run the OE e34 m5 pressure plate/clutch and it feels like stock but grabs way better. I am NA though.
In regards to the twin disc, it will be more stock feeling than a similar torque capable single disc because you have twice as much friction area. Same pressure plate force multiplied by twice the area = twice the torque capability with the same pedal feel.

Please don't listen to anyone here that says its bad. Its stock feel as it has 2 clutch discs so doesnt need as much clamping force to achieve the same thing your south bend would. I have driven a 673whp m52 e34 with one and could a very slight difference. Go to bimmerforumns were people actually have experince with them not here were its all here say. John I know all the secrets let me know if you need anyother info. Haha
