Dude, are you running true coil overs in the rear without a boxed in rear upper shock tower mount?

What’s the labor time on dropping the subframe? This is something I would like to do in the future as the rear end will be one of the last things that I have gone over in the car.

I’m going to be swapping the diff in my car and I feel like this would be a good time but not sure how far down the rabbit hole I need to go. Drive shaft and exhaust will already be out as I need to replace the gas tank...

edit: just found a pretty good DIY video from Blake’s garage that goes over pretty much everything. Doesn’t look to bad.

It took me about 3 hours.  Take your time and don't strip anything!   Lol

Oil change at 1,327 miles. Valvoline Conventional 10w-30 and a Napa 1515 Gold Filter.

I also replaced a leaking CCV vacuum pump -12an 90* fitting and added a short radius 90* and a 120* fitting on the hose side to give me more space from the top of the oil pan.

More welding! Jake @ Rawspeed is just amazing.  Worth every penny!!

He did my titanium/stainless exhaust and a lot of other odds and ends.  Hit him up!

Prep has begun for the shock tower reinforcement welding!

Will be stitch welding the wheel well side of the stock shock tower also.

Subframe, diff, driveshaft and trailing arms installed!!

                        Wow my pics are blurry!

Used Nord-lock washers for the driveshaft/diff adapter.  Accidentally threw one in the garage.  I've successfully found the needle in the haystack.

Reinforcements all done and stitch welded!  Need to hit it with some flat black paint.

Just need to mount pass. side brake, bleed the brakes, install the titanium section of the exhaust and battery then start it up!
