      It moves!

Between family time and work obligations I was able to bust my ass and get this thing buttoned up!

RawSpeed over in Butler did the exhaust and intake for me. Jake does AMAZING work!

The intake is 4" aluminium with an LS7 MAF.

The exhaust is Sikky 1 7/8" stainless steel headers to 3" stainless steel duals to a "Y" that merges into a single 3.5" stainless steel resonator then goes to 3.5" titanium and ends with a 3.5" titanium resonator with a slash cut to end. It sounds amazing and cannot wait for more seat time.

Late Model Throttle got it aligned yesterday and will be tuning it today/tonight! 2ee2fad78660575448789cdaca2bbd88.jpg89536a4cb648e4361f1dfadfcc544cea.jpgbc38ef9fd9d001dd987c4ab5090346ce.jpgd80b020cfcdf443a9881aa1515ecc280.jpgc2a6066070b539ba37f56ab8b043b567.jpgdfdd5045dc286eccdddec211f326a2f8.jpgbb1046bd7eec36e6e507424b158dd2dd.jpg

Dropped the rear an inch so Earl can start talking to me again!  Lol.

I've been driving it a lot and not taking many pictures.  I think I have about 350 miles on it so far.  Speedo gears are broken so there's that.

Oil has been changed once after initial start/warm up, around 30 miles and again around 150 miles.

Added a moroso vacuum pump that I'm starting to learn and work the bugs out of.  If I took it for a track day I feel the catch can would fill up and overflow in 20 mins in high RPMs.

"The Black Pearl" does grip and go and is a blast to drive.  Can't wait to get the tune sorted out with a "new" ECU.  The current one locked out after one flash when it was on the dyno.

                    Burning gas,

If you took it out for a track day you could probably just stay in 3rd the entire time!

Is there a reason for the ecu locking out? I've never ls'd before.

"I've never seen that happen before" is the famous phrase that has unwillingly attached itself to me.  Jesse at Late Model Throttle said the same thing and he can tune LS motors in his sleep.  No clue.

That is unfortunate. I Recently just spent 1400 on an ecu so I feel your pain.

So this means it's going to be on the dyno again?

I get Speedway, Summit, etc catalogs in the mail. Looking at the prices of aftermarket engine components will make you cry. Stroker cranks, cams, rods, pistons, heads.... You could build a 450hp engine with mountains of torque for the price of a used s52...

My kustom cam was $300.  Heads were $3600 though.  It gets expensive when you start getting into the valve train.
