Rubber floor plug?

Figured out why the drivers floorboard kept on getting wet after rain.

Seem to be missing a plug. Anyone replaced these or have diy suggestions?

Thanks. Figure I'll patch the floor for the other hole. The metal floor stub piece that the gas pedal fits over is about 3/4 rusted through. Just try to fab a new piece or are there other options for rigging the gas pedal?This is the daily beater so functional ideas win over pretty.

The girlfriends gas pedal mount rotted of the floor and somehow works well staying in the carpet lol. I need to tackle that repair there. Cutting the pedal out of a donor car is all I can think of

As crappy as it is to do, could get the bondo fiberglass kits & do the area in question.

I did this to my drivers side floor after it was patched with some welds. It does not leak any more.

I also tossed my stock carpet because it was disgusting and never dried.

Actually that's not a bad idea. Fab a sleeve over the base of the pedal that's held in place by the carpet.

I believe that i could cut the patch panel/gas pedal out of my parts car if someone wanted, but it may have to wait for the weather to cool down since i believe there is a wasp nest inside the car or near it.

Thanks. Avoid the wasps or nuke from a safe distance.

I cleaned the pan and patched things up with a piece of sheet steel and seam sealer for the rust hole. We'll see how the gas pedal holds up. Went with a plug and rtv for the drain plug hole. Remembered that I did this with the race car and its held up fine.

Most auto parts stores have a "help!" section with various rubber caps and plugs that should fit in there if you cant make it to a dealer.
