Also what are you putting down?
Last time I dyno'd it it was 442whp at 13psi.
I'm now at 18psi with a slipping clutch... I just want to break the 500whp mark.
I also have to pop in a new t3 turbo gasket. Mine currently is venting to atmosphere.

Got around to doing a little work on the car while in my basement.
Popped of the foamy thing.

It was all oil mush.

Gently pry a bit.

Off she comes!

New vs. Old

Oiled up the gasket, took a 15mm socket and tapped it home.

After cleaning up the tar-ish residue on the rod popped on the new foamy thing on with the dowel held in by the snap ring.

Waiting for more small parts from pelican. They're getting a call tomorrow...

Stopped out by Dan THE Exhaust Man's place.
The wing is in the works!!

Got the driveshaft and trans out.

Now let's go Marquette Warriors!!!
-
What are you selling the g260 for?
I read that as Now let's go Megasquirt!!!
$175 with the short shifter and linkage.
-
Got the clutch and flywheel out. Gotta love zipties!

A little slipping going on there. The pressure plate is a Sachs, clutch is a Southbend stage 4 and JB racing flywheel. Couldn't handle around 400ft/lbs.
-
Not sure. Bought the whole thing off of a guy on bimmerforums. I think it's just the disc.

$75 just for the trans.

Finally!
Trans time.
-
I'll be joining in the same escapade shortly=)
As will I!
-
We're in this together, guys!!

Shift pin time.
Love the ice pick.

Slide hammer the caps out.

Ready to pull out the pins. I used a J-hook screw to extract them out. (The thicker screw hook to hang flower pots or decorations. Not pictured.)

Once the pins are out drive in the Teflon collar with the correct punch. Make sure the gap in the collar points out to the right or left of the trans.

All at home.

Drop some gear oil in the hole and install the pins and springs.

Drive the caps home with the correct punch.

All done!
