What are the OE M5 rear subframe bushings like?  I got a set of Powerflex yellow ones for my dad's wagon but haven't installed them.  It's parked for the winter so it won't be until spring.

Not sure on stiffness but the M5 bushings are a tad shorter and allow for the reinforcement trailing bars to be installed.

Had a slight shimmy in the brakes so I had Mike replace the rotors and the pads.  Went with Zimmerman rotors and OEM BMW pads.

Scooped up a used M wheel with the updated airbag! Excited!

Got a power steering line leak so we'll be replacing that early next week.

Also replaced the dash lights, added the dimmer wire to my radio so the backlight on the keys works, replaced a bad O2 sensor under warranty, put new rubber mounts on the oil filter, added some leather interior bits: -steering column surround -upper & lower B pillars -center console arm rest.

          Slowly chipping away!

It's a leak detection spray.  Drys into a baby powder substance.  Washes off easy.  Pretty sweet!

Chipped away at some things.  Mike got the PS line replaced, m5 A pillars, black leather ebrake cable boot, new high intensity washer fluid container, washer fluid hoses, refurbished abs module, black front seat belts, and new wipers.

its just a second tank, to hold 'high intensity' fluid, for when the standard stuff just isn't cutting the bug-goo.

The E24 had this too. Its full concentrate vs. diluted fluid.

Summer wheels on!  She has been running great!

Need to get it to Mike's to do the rear subframe & diff bushings after we move to our new house on April 24th. Will also get the diff mount welded to reinforce it. Would love to get the rear subframe powder coated as well.

It's been a while! The wagon has been clocking the miles like a champ all summer. The front diff mount reinforcement has been on the radar for a minute and with the stars aligning with my schedule I pulled the trigger.  Mike has done all of it solo as real estate is booming and my free time is spent with the family.

                                      The list:

-M5 subframe bushings, dinan front diff reinforcement kit, powder coated subframe gloss black, all new bushings, new lower control arms (left is on back order from Germany), M5 ladder bars powder coated gloss black.

Oil & filter change. 10w-60 Liqui Moly & Mann Filter.

Installed: Repaired sunroof with new OEM rebuild kit. Black suede headliner, a, b, & c pillars.  Black Nappa leather m5 front seats, front cards, lower dash and center console. Black carpet.

Still need some grey items swapped to Black but getting there.

Endless Detailing polished the turd up today! I'm loving it!
