^ As stated - I mount the non-water proof one on the front of my motorcycle for track days and the sound is much better.
Awesome videos though!

I might stop by and I'll see if my brother will bring his Z4 M as well.

Looks like a beaut. Wish I could give it a home.
My question is, is why isn't it attached to the house?!
Because then you can't show this off:

Well... glad I didn't pick up that E46 I was looking at a little while back. Hope other members get it resolved easily if they're affected.
Hilariously accurate, REKIII
I would only wear neon wife-beaters and zumba pants if I lived that lifestyle.
I'm going to try my best to make it depending on how my plans for the weekend play out. It's been so long since I've been to a meet!
Damn! You were the one that beat me to that car! Haha - can't wait to see this progress.
Where did you get the painted gloss black for that price???
I want to buy new ones so I can keep the stock ones as backups for any reason.
I'm actually leaning towards keeping the stock ones in though since it keeps some contrast on the front end, but the all black look just looks sportier too, haha.
I debated keeping mine in for the same reason and it might look better since you have chrome window trim. I thought the gloss black complimented my shadow trim real nicely so I went with some that matched it. I got mine at http://www.khoalty.com
Should have waited til the meet Mott...would have saved you some money. I've got really good hook-up as Nick is my boss' son and I'm also friends with Mike that works for him. Boris, that dent should be doable. If you can't make it out to the meet pm me and I'll get you a number to get a good deal.
I know, I was going to but I probably won't make the meet so I decided to get it done sooner than later. My weekends are quickly vanishing!
He actually gave me a great deal and lent me his car in the meantime while he worked on mine so I didn't mind spending the extra money. I also figured my car would have taken up most of the meets time since it was pretty nasty and he also got some other dents out.
Great write up! Just did mine on my E39... not nearly as labor intensive though. Props for a detailed DIY.
I literally just got my car back today from having some NASTY dents taken out at Acci-Dent near David Hobbs Honda. Great work! I think Nick over there is a magician and a real cool guy. Definitely recommend them for anything Auto-body related.
Very relieving! Not sure if the car is ok just yet, I spoke with my friend briefly last night when he was still with the police around 12:30. They chased him down an alley near 26th and Burleigh, he tried to flee, but a cop apparently slammed his ass to the ground. However, nothing else has been found that was stolen which is the main concern - he took a laptop with some very precious work material which could potentially mean he faces international criminal charges. He is NOT in a good spot and I don't think he realizes just how serious of shit he's in.
That sucks =\ Is this your Rover? If so I feel for you.
Side note. Ugly vehicle from the factory. Could make a sick ass off roader though.
Not my car, but yeah, it's not a looker. However, the thing is a freaking tank to drive; the looks are very deceiving compared to when you're behind the wheel.
check for part outs and craigs list every day
Already on it - checking racine/kenosha, madison, chicago, appleton, and milwaukee. But we assume he dumped it by now, the car wasn't the priority; more the escape for what else he took. Lets just say I'm glad my friend wasn't stabbed while sleeping or something. I mean he lives on a very nice side of town, very friendly person, doesn't get in trouble, no enemies, etc. It's just one of those benign circumstances.
Good luck, hope they find the assholes responsible!
Thanks - I hope so, too. The asshole also took the keys (including the spare) to his other car in the garage so he has no transportation as of now.
Yes! Thank you, I was just about to add a genaric photo. Only difference is a wrap-around front brush guard and white ivory interior.
UPDATE: Car found! Thank you for all your help and concerns!
A green 2004 (I need to verify year) Freelander with Premium Ivory interior was stolen near downtown Milwaukee on the night of April 16th. Had factory front brush guard, rear light guards, only around 40,000 miles, and Wisconsin license plate 549-ECV. If you have any information please email me directly at:
I am reaching out to forums as a friend of the owner since he is swamped with other issues - essentially the thieves raided his condo. The car does have some sentimental value since his grandfather actually manufactured the leather for Land Rover and I also believe Jaguar for several decades until he sold the company a while back. So any information would help - please pass it on to fellow enthusiasts and owners as well.
Thank you!
That would be great if it can be moved, I've had a personal matter come up that might obscure me from attending. And the weather is underwhelming to say the least.
