"M For All" Business IdeaWhat exactly are you enabling for a prospective buyer? If they cannot afford a new M5 for $100k, you're suggesting there are affordable, but older, M5s that if you're able to find a clean one and know how to maintain it, you can still have an M5?

Madison BimmersI'd be down for some lunch meats too.

Madison BimmersChecking in from Middleton here.
Would definitely be in on some meets/lunch/whatever.

Help painting trim+1 for wrapping. I wrapped mine and it was way easier than painting. No need to sand either, just make sure it's clean.

My E92 335xi Build Thread - Lots of PicsJamil caught the whole, lower it as much as possible. He originally told me he wanted to just "lower it a little bit, get rid of the X-drive's 4x4 status". We got the front coil overs on, and he wanted the front about 4 threads off the bottom, comes back to do the rears, and the rear's are at their lowest setting, he decided to lower the front coils even more!
Good to see you like the new look Jamil! Glad I could help!
Hahaha, true story. Def didn't think I'd go down that far, but you called it right from the beginning. I actually raised the rear up by 1/4" or so, I wanted to lift a tad more, but the stupid top mount would spin with the adjusting ring so I clamped from the bottom and 1/4 was as high as I could go, but I think it looks aiight.
Thanks again for your help. You're the fuckin' man.

Kidney grille inserts for only $45? Too good to be true?+1 on plasti-dip! You might get some stone chips within a year or so, but you just peel it off and do it again. I've seen pics of some shitty grilles off eBay where the fins blend into the frame and there is a lot of extra plastic in the joints and doesn't look clean at all. The delivered product didn't look like that of the pics shown. Just a heads up.

Cheap angel eye bulbs? Opinions?Well looks like I should chime in. I have the LUX V3 bulbs and am really happy with them. I didn't do much research to alternatives and just went with the LUX because I've had a bad experience with headlights (non-AE related, so maybe not rational, haha), so I saw a lot of success with Lux and went with it. Maybe cheaper ones may throw a code, lack brigthness, or be more prone to failure. The brightest I've seen are the OSS led rings or Xenon, but that requires $$$$ or major efforts. You can't go wrong with the Lux, but might win out rolling the dice with BMWLED. Keep us posted!
I have Weisslicht LED turn signals in too and they get rid of the egg yolk effect quite nicely. In the cold I get an error from time to time but as soon as I flick the blinker it goes away.
Here is a pic of the Lux but before Weisslicht.

My E92 335xi Build Thread - Lots of PicsPosting up build thread. Not a whole lot going on right now outside of some standard mods. Sometime down the road FMIC and Cobb is in the plan.

Brushed Black Metallic Trim Wrap

KW V1 Suspension + LED Turn Signals
HUUUUUGGEEEEE thanks to Brian for helping me install these. It took us way longer than expected, I think five trips to harbor freight, a few close calls with the springs, and some shady taco bell, but we got it done. Thanks for your patience buddy.

E92 BMW Performance Exhaust Go ProThanks guys!
Car sounds just like it does in person man! Nice video. Lemme snag that go pro/mic so I can quiet down all these kids about my damn burnout video/ new exhaust!

Start a build thread on this thing, and I'll post up my pictures of your car!
Good call on the build thread. You can borrow the gopro and mic if you want man, just let me know when.
Sounds better than a 335is! I know exactly where you live now too
We'll have to meet up sometime when I'm back in Waunakee.Definitely. I was drivin around the other day and ended up in Waunakee, real close to Middleton.
Ahhhhhhhhh dang it. Now I really need this exhaust on my car.... Just no $$$ right now for it, hahah. I don't have a 335, but I'd bet money I'd still really like it on a 328. The best sounding car I've had otherwise was a 2009 WRX with a catback. THAT was awesome to listen to, especially through tunnels.
I've heard the PE on a 328 and it sounds pretty awesome. When the time is right, I say go for it!
Love the PE. I'm actually kinda sad I went with the dinan exhaust. I'm fully catless tho so it's a little more agressive

I don't think you have a single thing to be sad about (esp with Dinan!), haha. The build you have is sick, can't wait to see it some time.

WI Bimmers Facebook Page?Hey all, just wanted to throw out a suggestion of maybe creating a facebook group for WI Bimmers. When I lived in Houston we had a page and it was real nice to be able to banter, tag each other, share pics, etc. very easily. I feel like it really helped strengthen the BMW community and it quickly grew because everyone has facebook!
I could have gone and created one but being a noob, I want to be respectful of the community and leave it up to the moderator and veterans.

Madison Noob - e92 335Thanks all. No unfortunately it is an auto. I bought it used and searched for about three months until I found this one and I had a pretty specific list and the only thing this didn't have was the MT, so I had to suck it up and jump on it. Or spend gobs more money to buy new!

For install of coil overs? Bring it to my place. I can install those for you. Really not that hard!
Seriously? That would be awesome. I looked at some DIY stuff and it didn't seem THAT hard but still looked a bit intimidating, esp since I don't have a garage and the spring tool. Can you e-mail me and we can discuss? jamilafza(at)gmail Thanks!

Madison Noob - e92 335Hello everybody, just wanted to introduce myself to the community. Just recently moved to Madison from Houston, TX and looking forward to meeting fellow BMW enthusiasts. Here are some pics of my car. It is a lightly modded e92 335i (BMW PE and PPK1). Looking to install KW V1s this spring, if anyone has any local shop recommendations it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
