I plan on getting Hobbyist plates as soon as I possibly can for my 05 m3. Still 3 years out though. Figured id play it safe and go for hobbyist over collector. My county also doesn't do emissions so no inspection thank god.

-SOLD-SOLD-SOLD-For sale is a set of four OE E30 wheels 14x6 (bottlecaps) with four Sumitomo Touring LST 185/65R14 tires with lots of tread.  Two of the wheels have the original silver paint finish, and two are raw sandblasted.  I no longer have my E30 so I want to get rid of these to make more room in the garage. if you aren't completely happy, those post extenders i original shared are like $5 at advanced auto parts, saw them when I stopped in the other day.

Thanks all for the replies. I think i'll try re-dying, but I am afraid of the dye rubbing off on everything... tsweers89 said: Its one thing to re-dye the seats the same color. But when doing a entire different color it tends not to work well. You wont get everything covered and there will be different shades throughout the seat. I went from grey to beige (out of a 430 italia) and got not so good results. This is with doing correct prep work. in the end I just got my seats recovered in the correct color leather. $1350 is what I got charged for labor and material. Using a nappa leather. Seemed pretty cheap for what the end product was. Going back to get my lower dash and center console covered in the same thing soon. Who recovered the seats for you?  I'm looking for a well regarded local auto upholsterer as another option.

Eh, live and learn, The front is easy to align yourself, nothing to adjust besides toe in.  Glad you got it figured out.

the cylinder head casting mold would probably cost in the $10,000 range. after the mold is ready, a cast unit would likely cost about $500 Machining would be another $500. Then you still havent even gotten into the development of the cam and rocker assemblies.  So what I am trying to tell you is, I should have one up and running in my car by morning.
