There is now! Just picked these up from a local tire shop they had sitting in the back in a box from the early 90’s. They used to be a MOMO distributor back in the day. Super neat score that’ll match the Recaro Momo Special and fit the period correct theme I’m going for. Also the cage is currently polished/cleared. I can’t find any other pictures or anything on these pedals

          WOAH.. that brings me back.

So oddly, my very first car had a very similar set of those Circa 2004. The guy I bought it from was best friends with the owner of LINK motorsports back in the day. He got a bunch of free parts for the car that was sitting on the shelf. Sadly, this also meant the car was a pile of mismatched parts. Red seats, blue harnesses, red faded to brown steering wheel, etc. I ended up selling my pedals to some kid years ago, nowhere NEAR as clean as those.

          Congrats on your find!

Well not related to the Daytona. But picked up a Mauritiusbleu metallic 318i individual that has been sitting in a storage unit since 01’. Hasn’t seen daylight in 18 years. Originally ordered in Canada it spent its entire life in New Mexico. The thing is flawless underneath and has no rust. Excited to daily drive it and give it the love it needs. A deep cleaning, a buff, new fender and hood on the way! Was originally parked because the owner was leaving his marine base driving it to wisconsin home and got into a minor accident. Parked it, and here we are 18 years later.

very cool! sad that someone who spec'd an 'individual' didnt upgrade to the painted bumpers.

I personally like the look of the unpainted bumpers. I made my other coupe 2 tone with grey bumpers on purpose

What a cool find. Not many factory fresh E36's around anymore.

So after contacting International BMW where I know a manager, I got the word that the car was in Germany from 1993-1998. It spent almost all of its miles there and has all the service history of the car documented. The guy I bought it off must’ve been misinformed on the history of where the car was originally from. The service booklet had some really cool brochures in it and a bunch of other stuff like this cool napkin. Super pumped about finding this car.

Style 26’s. From what i understand they were never sold in America and if they were it was an extremely small amount. They’re supposedly even really hard to come by in Europe.

Haven’t updated in a while. It’s been a wild few months with the world ending and all that ruckus. Car is finally getting close to being drivable! It’s fully painted, I am currently finishing the wet sanding process. The wheels were fully refinished was planned, I had the chrome removed and powder coated the faces and cage to match, and polished the lips of the wheels. I have gotten very close on my fitment I’m desiring. The rear is a little off still due to some tow issues. I am installing offset RTAB bushings tomorrow from Garagtastic and hopefully that will help me get it to where I want it. The interior is almost finished up for now, I am just a few steps away from mounting and wrapping my metal door panels in alcantara suede. Can’t wait to get on the road! Closer and closer everyday. Alignment is next Monday!

Where are those town houses at? Look pretty dope.

Also, going to need a link for the 935 keychain

Thanks! I’m right on Lake Michigan in St. Francis. I got the key chain from a guy in Poland actually. He got it from a 90’s shop that went under in Japan that sold all Momo stuff. It was never never opened from 89’

The worst days of owning a BMW will always be the days you do bushings. Rented a $300 bushing removal kit and still ended up having to beat the living crap out of them to get them out. Oh well. Offset bushings in. Toe is a million times better. Alignment Monday! Buffing and wet-sanding continues all week.
