I just messaged some motoring life garage place and told the guy there to order me some. He gave me the run around about how I don’t own a 1er but I sent him money anyways

Sounds like a fucking hack.  I'd complain to the bbb.

Purchased some bummerworld floor plates for the new seats, new clips for the sill plates, new clips for the doorcards, firewall steering shaft boot and new boot mount from a dude on r3v (needed for making the boot work with the different steering shaft angle associated with the z3 rack), side mounts for seats, vac seat belt receptacle mounts and a manual gas pedal stop as mine was still the auto kickdown switch thing.

hopefully that’s all I need to get the interior finished off

Are these the E46 floor mats? I haven't even driven in my car with my eBay mats, but they look like trash compared to these.

yes, e82 mats. they fit OK, but the fronts are a little small. its nice that they are OEM quality, though, vs aftermarket questionable stuff.

also started cleaning and putting together the rear trunk carpets and stuff. Won’t be dyeing those. Just cleaned them up. Need to cut up the side pieces to fit around the rear strut brace.

Trunk carpets in. Could’ve got fancy with cutting them out for my adjusters and strut brace, but just cut them short instead.

I do have the plastic battery cover, it’s just a tiny bit awkward to affix and it’s nice not having to tear anything apart for tech - so I won’t be using it most likely

                                          carpet looks great!

                                          (throws out carpet)

just put a cap on the positive terminal so an errant can of Molson's in your trunk doesnt short the battery.
