Other than a couple small things to put on the engine is ready to go back in.

Looking good! The spare motor is the one that came with your car correct?

Thank you! The spare motor is one I just picked up actually. The one with the PCing came with the car. I had it out last year and did a bunch of refreshing on it, but noticed the RMS leaking when I parked it for the winter. So, back out, redid a bunch of the powder coating from silver to wrinkle black, light weight flywheel, and a some other stuff.

A few beers later and with the assistance of @rampelsauce, the engine is back in. Zach left with a small Tupperware of brackets for PC. Loving the wrinkle black more and more.

New steering wheel in and mocked the front up. Gotta take the bumper back off to hammer in the tow hook bumper support some more and make sure all the headlight adjusters spin.

Got a little more of the engine back together.

Also, working on putting in the M3/318is engine harness covers. The harness in the car was so stiff from 30 years of being in the same position so I had to pull out the harness and trim off the rubber coating. Will mock it up and then wrap it in the fabric harness tape.

Yes, in the end it was worth it. Also got new headlight covers to help clean up the front of the engine.

Getting the engine almost all put togrther. Accidentally tossed out the radiator rubber mounts with the old radiator so waiting for new ones of those to finish that up.

Other than the exhaust a few small things in the engine, the big stuff is all done. Last few to do's are remote door lock thing install, new head unit that blends in better than the cheap one I got last year, would like to attempt to peel the tint off.

I've always had a thing for wives that were my exact height and wives who are just a hair shorter. Couldn't make up my mind so I got one of each.

Make sure you are well ventilated removing that tint. I got super sick last year removing old tint.

Because of the glue used for the tint?

Any tips or tricks you can recommend? I was gonna go at it with a heat gun and just start peeling.
