I've got a laptop with all the coding software but never even really bothered giving it a shot. You're welcome to play with it if you want.

I'll keep that in mind, theres a really good video tutorial I found on YouTube that a guy talks you through getting the software all the way to coding some things.

Decided to make some room in the rear today. While I'm not hammered low and my fenders aren't super rolled there was a few rubbing issues due to some of the factory bump castings I suppose you could call them inside the rear wheel wells. Hacked out some metal and made some relief cuts.

Forgot to take a before of the passenger side.

      20190209120045.jpg

While realistically the best thing to do would be to weld them, I dont have a welder at the house. I was able to get the ends very close the the outside panel and they are much higher than before creating alot more room. I seam sealed the passenger side and need to do the driver side still. So I'll post photos when that is done!

Finished up disassembly, cleaning and swapping in all the xenon stuff on the other headlight yesterday. Also got my new lenses! Super hyped on how good these look all cleaned up with new lenses.

Got a few part in the mail recently. No photos but nothing extremely exciting. The new clutch came in, intake manifold gaskets, a cv boot rebuild kit and a rear plastic thing (idk what the proper name is haha) and then the covers for the low beam side of my headlights.

            20190302114545.jpg

Also got my abs plastic in to finish the rear bulkhead too. Used my CAD (cardboard aided design) template traced it out and started cutting.

            20190302145812.jpg

Got everything trimmed right then drilled some holes. Used M5 nutzerts and some stainless M5 hardware to secure it.

              UPDATE

Finished up sealing the rear inner quarters that I cut to make some room. Only got a photo of the right side but you get the idea. Sealed the cuts with 3M seam sealer and then sprayed undercoat over everything.

              20190309121413.jpg

Also finished up the evap delete. Looped the vent and installed an inline filter to keep dirt out. Found a great write up on the evap delete for e46 on another page.

              20190309121346.jpg

Vented from the filter up as high as I could since there is alot of debris whipped up from drifting. Not sure if I shared a photo before but I also removed all of the evap lines from the back to the front of the car along with the canister from the rear.

Also wrapped the roof, and this color is so hard to show in photos but I'm hyped.

              20190309151059.jpg

Here's one of the new M skirts wrapped as well.

Either way, I think it would look hawt.

                                Update.

Thanks to the help of @Earl and @SamHolzmann last night was very productive. Pulled the motor and trans out of the car. Replaced the clutch which actually wasnt even that worn lol. But we put in a stage 2 sprung carbon kevlar disc and a new pressure plate anyways. Also replaced the I take manifold gaskets which I neglected to do last winter. Then we were able to get the engine and teand back and mounted into the car.

                                IMG20190316011721224.jpg

Now I'll be able to get the engine bay back togeather! Still would like to replace the exhaust and the driveshaft due to the u-joint having some play and the CV on the driveshaft starting to go bad.

Trying to get the engine bay back togeather and it feels good to make some progress in the putting togeather direction.

Made some mounts for the strobes on the front bash bar, also painted the lower part to the bash bar that I added last spring. Which is where the strobes are mounted to, was too late to get a photo since I put everything together.

                                  20190316182820.jpg

I was also itching to get the new to me chrome trim on the car. I snagged this "new" set from the junkyard last summer. But damn the white and chrome are gonna look good.

Another wrap update but I cant help myself because I'm hyped hahah.

Finished the passenger door then got new clips installed on the trim and popped those on along with wrapping the door handle.

                                        UPDATE.

More wrap progress. Got the driver side quarter, rear panel under the trunk (forgot to take a pic) and also the hood done!

and finally some non wrap related stuff Haha. Picked up this PMC Motorsport chassis mount shifter. Super nice and beefy piece!

Honestly I am slightly worried that my stock DSSR will become a weak point because of this shifter so that's on the list eventually. There isnt much banging gears with the track we mostly drive.

                                          Update.

Got the trunk wrapped and installed the tail lights.

                                          20190330141821.jpg

Also wrapped the driver side door. And got all the trim on.

                                          20190329202744.jpg

Then got the fenders installed along with the chrome grills in the hood. Also fitted up the headlights and corners.

                                          20190330191508.jpg

I found out when I was disassembling the car that the driver side axle was leaking some grease from the inner boot. Ordered up a boot kit which was $20 and even febi brand! So I rebuilt that axle today. Was super simple and quick.
