      Hahahaha. Very true=)

      I was very successful yesterday.

      IMAG0963zps8eb2d1d1.jpg

It came off without any issues. The headgasket is still on in that picture. I checked over it and cannot find any blowouts.

Every pistons does look like this though.

      IMAG0964zps3fcef734.jpg

I'm not sure why there is so much carbon buildup. The car ran excellent before I parked it.

      The head looks excellent.

It definitely looks like it only has 20,000 miles or so on it. Should I still get it resurfaced? I can wipe it clean and it'd look brand new.

That was my goal for yesterday so I left the shop. On a side note, I made this badass crossbow at work yesterday.

Hopefully the subframe parts will be all done and painted Saturday so that I can assemble them=)

A head can warp in a fraction of a second under the right conditions. No matter what the mileage is, I would at least have the head checked for flatness.

If I can get a straight edge and feeler gauges I'll check it. Otherwise I can have it checked for free. Hopefully it is perfectly fine. I might have the valve seals done since it is so cheap=)

Absolutely nothing got done today besides grabbing my rear subframe parts from jakes shop. One of my all reds somehow got hit sitting in my living room and is giving me a hard time trying to fix it.

I also was told that my tire sizes won't stretch much.

              205/40 on a 9.5:

I get why you are doing it, I still don't like stretch.  How does the bead stay seated?  What happens when you corner hard?  Not being a jerk, it really doesn't make sense to me.

There is a chance that the bead could come unseated from a big pothole. I definitely need to avoid those because I do not want to bend lips. Hard corners have never been an issue in the past. You just need to keep them properly inflated and then there usually is no issue.

the worst feeling is seeing one too late, sitting up on the wheel, closing your eyes, gritting your teeth

                                bam, day ruined.
