    Hey, just wondering what the actual differences are between the M20B25's in those 2 setups relating to mounting for the ix tcase?

      completely different blocks, they arent interchangeable. are you trying to put an ix trans on a i or the opposite? either way, it is not bolt on, and i can only imagine it is not worth the time/money to figure it out

            I believe not much is different. The oil pan and dipstick location are different.

              ^ SO WRONG. sorry, I found this out the hard way, I say it once and for all. IX M20's WILL NOT work in an I car!!!! It is missing a hole in the block for a pressure relief valve! I cannot be done!

                  It can be done and has been..... just added machine work. What it all intails is beyond me, just not worth it. Find a reqular m20
