Thought the lines were pre bent?

I ended up being able to fix it after picking up a better bender. The return line was prebent, but the supply line was not. Not sure why bmw did this as they both have almost identical bends. I was able to save 10 out of the 12 mounting clip bushings, which is better than I expected. The screw broke off in the other 2 and there wasn't any way to get it out. Shouldn't be an issue tho. So I cleaned up the underbody surface while the lines were out and painted/underbody coated it all. I also painted the lines to help prevent corrosion starting. I should be able to get the lines back in this week and put the tanks back in.

Sheesh. I thought you were going to have to order more uber rare OEM lines from deh Germanz again. Glad you make it work, now where are the pictures?

Got the lines installed finally. What a pita. Had to use some pretty MacGyver tricks to get them where they needed to be and clamped in. Now to replace all rubber lines, install tanks and hook new pump/filter up.

Well I've been taking a break from the e21 for a drift bike project, bit decided to jump back into it today. Got the gas tanks installed with vent hoses connected, ran fuel hoses from top of tank to return line and to a new walbro external pump and e30 fuel filter. Just need to run fuel hose from hardlines to fuel rail and fpr up in engine bay.

Yup. Picked it up at home depot in the roofing section. Acts as sound deadening and anti rattle. I applied it to entire floor before laying carpet down since I removed all the stock sound deadening.

She's alive once again. Finished up the fuel hoses to the rail and regulator and she fired right up. Some smoke coming from the new turbo manifold area. I'll have to run it more to see if it's just oil or paint burning off or something else.

Figured I'd start on fitting the group 2 kit. Not much progress but it's something.

These fenders had a shit ton of glue holding them on from the factory. Craziness!!!

Got the new ones on that were already cut for flares.

Got the front valance switched out too and started fitting the grp2 front spoiler. Looks like I'll need to add a fiberglass lip to the top edge, so the rivnuts have something to grab. I also started installing the single headlight setup I made quite awhile ago. Having trouble getting them to turn on with the headlight switch. Must be a wiring issue.

And... totally forgot I paid for this guy over a month ago. Just got it today in the mail. Any guesses?

Got the headlights sorted. I forgot about the high beam solder mod I had done when installing the HIDs. So desoldering that worked like a charm. Now to just buy a new headlight connector plug to wire back into the harness and I can fully install the headlights and grilles.

Basically, yes. It's the e21 gruppe 5 rear roof spoiler.

Thats pretty Effin cool. Remind me what your plans are for a rear trunk wing/spoiler again?

I have a motorsport duckbill trunk spoiler I will be mounting as well as the custom splitter with center oval exhaust
