                  Update time!

Poked around a bit over the last couple days.

Scored a half day of work today so I've been working on cleaning up the front strut housings

                  Rears are all reassembled.

Waiting on a few more parts from Blunt. They shipped out today.

Over the weekend I disassembled the fronts the fast way!!!

Thanks for cleaning those up. My first drive on h&r sports with bilstein sports was "what have i done, this is too stiff!" But within a couple miles the shocks softened up a bit and it was great. You should enjoy the additional sharpness over stock.

Rear shocks were easily collapsible by hand by my 10yr old step son!!! 300,000+ miles will make them a bit mushy I'd say.

Even though they appeared to have been submerged in the lake for 20yrs I had both clean in about 20-30 mins each. No holes/soft spots.

Now I sit and wait for parts!

I can't say I've dealt with many vendors in the past with as good service as Blunt.

In 20+ years in my industry I've dealt with plenty that just plain sucked!

Put in a few hours today.

Works a bit slow.....good for garage time though.

                                e12bce1286578e7f361067a743ed2753.jpg

Brand new everything except for rotors.

Had to make new hard brake lines for both fronts.

Drivers side goes from the ABS pump to the soft line.

Passenger side I spliced up inside the engine bay.

I'm outta brake fluid and I can't find my bleeder tubing!!!

                                I'll grab some tonite.

                                    Got everything buttoned up!!

Even put my "new" fender on.

She looks much, much better! Handles much better as well

I still need to re bleed the brakes. She stops.....barely. Takes a couple pumps to stop.

I had a odd bearing type noise on the left rear.

Moved that tire to the front left and the noise followed. All wheel bearings are new, must be the tire.

A bit of rake. I think it looks tough.

Got the brakes all bled with the wife's help.

All 4 corners are nice and clean fluid. A few bubbles outta the passenger front.

Gonna call it a day and spend some time with the family!
