No m60 or m62 here

If I ever join you guys, I'll park far enough away so no one thinks I'm part of the group!!
Sorry, forgot the S62! You are welcome too of course.

It ok, we will have bomb ass stickers on our cars so people will know the difference

Sounds like a plan!
Ps. Sorry for the thread jacking Zach

All good. It's for the cause.
TJ texted me with another exhaust option. I guess its a not so expensive muffler that has some kind of internal valve that opens at WOT.
I wouldn't mind checking that out. Chopping up exhaust is pretty cheap.

Here is the entire exhaust from headers back after the scuba tanks are removed. I made the cut directly after the rear axle when installed on the car.

-
I'm toying with the idea of buying another cat back stock exhaust and cutting off the dead end side of the Y, and just using it as a test dummy in general.

Yeah. I'd have to figure out a bracket.
Nothing a welder and a grinder couldn't solve.

Doesn't the A in i/A stand for North American model and not automatic? Every e30 I've had except for the euro car had that on the door tag and they all were 5-speeds.
-
Found this on Bimmerforums:
"We have been over this a few times. Pre-1991 or so, every American BMW had "525i/A". Then they changed it to 525i for manual and 525iA for auto, and that's how it is today.
If you see someone list a car as 525iA that means auto, nobody uses it to say American. 525iM is not official term for a manual but makes sense as the counterpart of the "A" suffix."
-
So I think I need to build a m60 e30 this next year.
2015 goals! I think it would be such a fun daily.

S63 E30's are better.
-
Has that ever been done?

When's the 540 party? I might just have to do my exhaust mods before then.
