4 door e30 opinons

Don't get racelands for an e30. Even if you want to be stanced out, they won't work for that. For a sub $1000 setup I wouod highly recommend bilstein sport rear shocks, ground control springs and collars, and corrado front strut inserts. Section about 1"-2" out of the front struts and mount the collars and you have the best budget coils you can get=)

I am not able to weld them back together if thats what you mean by sectioning them.

Think i am going with either the h&r kit or kyb shocks with h&r race springs for 100 bucks less. I had kyb's on my e39 with eibach sport springs and it rode very well.

What is the wheel hub bore spec anyway on a 1987 335e? I assume its 4x100 bolt pattern.

Yea I was gonna ask how do you tuck the bumpers? Also whats the word on the JOM coilovers? Looks like decent reviews for the most part. Because I watched a vid on a h&r race spring install and the after pics the front still hass like over a inch of wheel gaaaaap

Struts and springs will still lead to wheel gap. JOM's ride like cheap coilovers. The springs/sleeves, corrado inserts, and rear bilsteins is really the way to go on a budget.
Tucking bumpers involves drilling a small hole in the bumper shocks and smacking the bumpers in.

You can snag a set of e90 spring hats for $30 from the dealer to even out the front ride height with h&r race

Theres a thread over on r3v where someone got a face full of the pressurized gas/oil while drilling and it really goofed up their lungs

Cheap stuff is cheap stuff, IMO it isn't the worst to have a tiny wheel gap, I would rather not be paranoid about my oil pan and enjoy driving my car. That car looks awesome, stick with tasteful upgrades not cheap stuff like Racelands/Joms etc and ruin it. Beautiful car and congrats on the purchase, don't be taking that out in the salt.

Could you be a bit more specific as to what I need to get and do? Will this get rid of all the wheel gap. I would rather not use cheap coils. Actually Submuzik Boss still has all the stock e90 sport shocks and struts from his 325i. Are the spring hats part of the front strut assembly?
