The best part wasn't the launches or even how awesome the build is but rather the running m20 bolted to nothing but a pallet and shooting fire haha

      Actually though that's pretty awesome

      Edit: I can't read, m50

Neat, I appreciate the ingenuity and work that went into that, but let me play the devil's advocate/tsweers for a sec.

mid/rear engine conversions should be reserved for FWD cars that are trying to become RWD cars. The engine would fit perfectly fine in front of the driver.

Semi-trailing arm rear suspension will take some SERIOUS fine tuning or thorough knowledge of vehicle dynamics to return the car back to stock stability and predictability. The rear roll center height and rear toe out due to weight are two examples.

I did not see how custom they went with the suspension so will assume it is semi-trailing arm.

              /bah humbug

Has anyone seen this mid-mounted M20!!!

                      A mid-engine conversion is a brilliant idea!

                      God bless the M20

cool project in that no one has done it (or very few)

useless project in that e30s already have good weight distribution, so it doesnt take such a gigantic effort to balance them out.  he lost the trunk, rear seats, and gained an empty engine bay (which is useless).
