maybe. The way I look at it is I'm replacing about 20" of rubber with stainless & as for the remaining hardline.....one of my hardliners coming from the T was pinched flat....soooo hopefully it feels better after replacing it lol.
Side note: when installing my hydro many moons ago, I found a bunch of pics/threads were people would run stainless line from the hydro (mainly for looks in the cab) and didn't run into issues of being able to lock up the rear brakes.
I guess what I'm trying to say Pat is, I have no idea but I am definitely interested to find out haha

Garagistic is really good at releasing brand new shit a day after I place my order.
Reinforcement plate for the control arm/ball joint spot. I will probably end up buying it because I have all my shit out of the car already. And I'm a sucker, what can I say

Does that spot usually crack? I don't recall seeing anyone having issues at that point. You would think the control arm would break before that cracks lol
Exactly my thoughts. Maybe in extreme applications of rage drifting and or fuckery (AKA you crash into a curb) it would crack

They will have a weld-in license plate mount reinforcement soon. My license plate mounts tore out during some intense Togue races last month in Kyoto

I was commenting on this. I now realize that you meant the reinforcements for the front subframe=)

Yeah, I most likely won't be doing them. It seems like a lot of heat to put into 28 year old 'not-that-thick' steel. I honestly have never heard of a subframe failing there either

Got out and cleaned everything up tonight. Also removed all of the bushings that were left (trailing arms and diff)
Also got the rear hardlines removed from the union. Here's the one that was semi crushed
And the other shitty one
Tore apart the struts I bought from Ray. If you ever want to watch a half inch socket/wrench fly across the room and dent drywall don't use a spring compressor. It was pretty awesome to see all the shit fly into the wall. The front struts are what I'll be using for my coil overs. They are actually super clean (pics show them as I bought them) the wheel bearings seem to be in great shape. I'll probably just toss them back on the car as is and if one goes I'll replace it then. Kind of a shitty thing is that I had to drill the stupid rotor set screw things out on both hubs, not a huge concern. Just annoying
That's where I left off for the night. I need to finish cleaning up under the car & start ordering some parts!

Gonna get out tonight (hopefully) and get some por-15 on the subframes and trailing arms and diff.
Also gonna try and finish cleaning up under the car.
Still not sure what I should put on the struts/knuckles. I'll have to see how the por-15 goes on elsewhere. Although I'll be waiting to get coils welded up before anything goes on them
