Pondering on potenital cars...

e36's fall apart faster
e34s are harder to work on
any v8 e34 is going to be $$ for maintenance as compared to any i6 car
e36s handle better, e34s ride smoother.
i wouldn't touch an e36, IMHO the ugliest 3 series ever made, and probably the cheapest quality BMW ever made. square headlights, what is that shit?!

It really depends on what *YOU* prefer, doesn't it?

i'm just looking for some other opinions to help guide myself in the right direction.

But I'm probably going to keep looking for both, see if I can get a better deal on one or the other. I am leaning towards the e34 side more just because I like how they are more unique.

The main requirement is an M52 engine, hence the E34/E36 choices.

I am being totally honest right now with my opinion. I say get a 318ti. Preferably a 94 or 95. They are great little cars. They handle excellent, get great gas mileage, and are very very reliable.
I do think 318ti are cool little cars but I was handed down Chris's 318is which I drove till it died any I'm really looking to get into the I6 again, I miss them to much.
Would anyone be able to I.D. the wheels on this car? Trying to figure out how much I would be able to get for them.

And @Ramze46, I would go for one but the milage isn't going to cut it. Part of my justification to getting a car right now it to drive myself the 1000 miles home and back to SC a couple times a year.

I'm gonna b slapping a turbo on the e28 soon so we shall see about the mileage once I calm down on hearing blow off valve lol
