Those cars will NOT die! As much as you want it to! My x gf's car blew the timing belt at 200k on her 2.2L. I thought it was finally done... NO! I put a timing belt on for 30 bucks and it runs fine! God Dammit!

Speaking of sweet 2.2's I just picked up a winter car last night. Stay tuned for the unveiling!

I did manage to save big money too!

Im guessing mid 90's Subaru Impreza.

I did the timing belt on mine as well. Im sure the small-handed Japanese engineers thought there was a crap-load of space between the side of the engine and the sheetmetal but my man-hands disagreed.

Think more mid 2000's chick car than that haha, not to mention FWD.

I just picked up another E28. Gunna be the winter beater for a bit, then it's getting torn apart in spring and parted out.

1986 535i 5spd. Power seats, black leather seats, new tires, limited slip. Should do decent!

99 Maxima, 5spd.  Haven't put the Blizzaks on yet with them she goes anywhere till the bottom drags, then it time for the truck.

Up and running after about three years of neglect, new lower oil pan, assorted m42 air and water hoses and belts, fresh fluids, actually idles now and runs.
