I did the timing belt on mine as well. Im sure the small-handed Japanese engineers thought there was a crap-load of space between the side of the engine and the sheetmetal but my man-hands disagreed.
I agree. there was tons of millimeters of space!

I had a celica with a 2.2 and a stick I hated every moment with that car as a daily and everything broke besides the drivetrain but I couldn't kill it u think it's still running to this day lol but seriously they are only reliable unless u run into the guy in madtown with a 5 speed beige Camry with v6 that's lowered that one u gotta respect lol

I forgot his name, but that thing is stupid low, an it's his delivery car. That thing is sweet for what it is.

No doubt my buddy raced him with his vr6 gti and almost lost... We beat him when my buddy blew his shift linkage and stayed in third past 100 never knew a vr could rev past 10 grand lol I loved the power band after 8 grand

Thank you sir. It has never left me stranded. Ever. A/C compressor converted to air compressor, can air up tires or even run an impact. Hope to convert it to CNG at some point to make it cheaper to operate, on a good day it gets 12mpg.
