    Hello everyone,

    My name is Andrew Laishes.

Just went to my first WIbimmers meet on Saturday the 22nd and figured I would make an intro post on here. I recently (last tuesday) sold my honda civic and picked up an e39 BMW 540i 6 speed (last thursday) with just over 125k miles.

I have lived in Madison all my life so I know the area well; hoping to meet more members, attend more events, and get further involved into the WIbimmers community.

Enough talk; here's what she looks like as it sits.

Just a stock e39! Nothing too impressive but hopefully my ownership will make the car look and sound better and better.

Thanks; yeah I believe I got a good deal on it; looks like the previous owner took care of cooling issues aswell. (replaced radiator, stainless steel braided coolant lines).

Thanks! Yeah I absolutely love the car thus far; my only complaint is ... well.... not a very big one... but.... the cupholders are kinda small for my big American beverages. :(

My clear on the lips isn't looking so good. I might take them apart and fix that this winter. They're not bad enough where the aluminum is hopelessly damaged (yet).

They'll be broken before you know it, don't worry.

Well I'm planning on putting in different cupholders eventually. I just don't want it to look cheap; so we'll see.
