It has not. But I did take a good look at it yesterday when I stumbled across the ad. There is certainly some "things" going on with it though.
The pictures are over edited which makes it hard to tell if the paint is nice or not. It seems like some panels are darker than others depending on the angle. Having that ZR-s bumper on the front and not the back is also kind of odd to me as well. The other thing that is really stood out is that "cold air intake" that splits into two and looks to run down over the top of the exhaust manifold?
608 is about 5 mins from my girlfriends place, so maybe I will swing by and look at it in person. Overall its a cool car, but IDK if I could spend $15k on it.

Yeah the more I look at it the less sure I am. Love me some 6 series, but not $15k much..

I don't know why the intake would look like that unless it had two turbos. But you would think they would mention that...

I found the last time it was for sale, it is indeed twin turbo. Pretty cool car! It's a shame they did a crappy repaint on the wheels instead of refinishing them properly, it looked better as a whole before in my opinion.

I'm actually interested... Down to one vehicle, always on the hunt for another mistake!

Unless I missed it, did the 608 motorsports ad fail to mention that it was twin turbo? lol

Not a single use of the word "turbo" anywhere on the ad, seems like a fairly important thing to overlook haha

Well then... I guess that would make me a bit more hesitant lol

Well sir. I plan on driving it a little this spring since I have yet to enjoy the fruits of my labor, but it will be up for sale late summer.

Yeah that's really odd they don't mention the turbos in the ad. I saw the listing on Facebook and it fails to mention anything there too. Must have a novice behind the keyboard writing those ads.

Keep me in mind when it comes time to part with it. I nearly pulled the trigger on a 633csi that I regret letting go

-
Well this guy certainly timed this sale right.
-
Didn’t know that was a thing either. According to Wikipedia we got the Motorsport handles Instead

“In Europe, all 850CSi's came with four-wheel steering (AHK - Aktive Hinterachs-Kinematik, Active rear axle Kinematics), uprated and ventilated brakes with floating front discs, rear differential oil cooler, engine oil cooler, two-tone interior, sports seats, and reshaped mirrors. In the United States, the cars instead received "BMW Motorsport" writing on the doorhandles.”

You are the first in line.

Well this guy certainly timed this sale right.
That is one damn cool machine.

They put some serious work into those videos. Also, anyone catch the license plate on it? YERO FVR. Not sure if Asian and can't say Yellow or it's a play on euro... I like to think the owner has a sense of humor and is Asian.
