I do have a sienna you know=/

I recall seeing a premade "harness" of sorts for adding a electric radiator fan... But for the life of me can't find the website (I thought it was on CATuned/Condor/IE....). Needing to get my radiator and fan situation sorted out in the next week or so and SUCK at electrical.

Wow, that's cheap.
I wish I had 20k laying around... -
I like potatoes, and my post was not what I wanted...

Are you removing the mechanical fan? Or replacing the aux electric fan?
Losing the fan clutch, M20 rad, AC condenser, etc... Changing to M42 rad with pusher elec fan.
-
I am a huge fan of the m42 rad. It looks nice and clean. We will see how its cooling capacity is with the m50 turbo...
If it doesn't keep things cool, I will run a z3m mishimoto with a shavebay reservoir !
On your m20 you shouldn't run into any issues though. -

You should be able to power it from the stock wiring that went to the aux fan assuming it draws less than 30 amps. The on/off is controlled by the temp switch on the right side of the radiator. The one to use is from the 4 cylinder which is 80/88c rather than the 6 cylinder switch that is 90/99c. The are identical other than the switching temp.
Do the aftermarket fans have low/high or just one speed? If just one speed then I would hook the positive lead from the fan to both the high and low wires from the car harness so it runs whether the temp switch calls for low or high speed.

Why have hacked up wiring to accomplish the same thing? If you use the 4cyl 80/88c switch (61 31 8 361787) it plugs right in. The only wiring needed is to wire your new fan to black/blue AND black/green on his wiring diagram (assuming single speed fan) and change fuse 3 (on the car in his diagram) to a 30A. The fuse size change is safe because the wiring is the same size on both circuits. If you have a failed low speed resistor on your stock aux fan you can just bypass the resistor and upsize fuse 3 resulting in high/high rather than low/high.
About the Chasebay overflow, I am confused how you will use that? It is not a pressurized expansion tank. Isn't it made for a system with a cap on the radiator?

IWhats special about the z3m rad?
Bigger than m42, and thicker than the e30 6 cylinder radiator.
Where does the chase bay overflow plug in to? Never really thought about that.
